Badge created for the attendees of the IMechE Summer Meeting in Southampton in 1955. It is a small, silver-coloured metal badge with a blue band around the edge containing the name of the Institution. The city and year are located on an additional blue tab at the bottom. In the centre is the IMechE symbol of the globe and a chained horse.
