Badge created for the attendees of the IMechE Summer Meeting held in York in 1936. It is octagonal and made from gold-coloured metal. There is a white trim around the edge, and the main background is mostly blue with gold lettering spelling out the name of the Institution, the city and the year. At the top is the city crest - a St George flag with five lions.
