A name badge created for attendees of the 1934 Summer Meeting in Liverpool. It is comprised of two main sections made from gold metal. The first section is a rectangle slot for the attendee's name. It is connected by a chain to the larger second section. That is formed of a white shield with a black Liverbird with a leaf in its beak (the symbol of Liverpool) and smaller banners on the under the shield with a red tab showing the shortened version of the Institution's name (I.Mech.E), a small blue tab with the city and another small red tab with the year (1934).
