Black and white image of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway's (LMS) steam locomotive number 6251 "City of Nottingham". 6251 was a LMS Coronation Class locomotive designed to be used for the express passenger service. It was built in 1944 and withdrawn in 1964. It is seen here in LMS livery.
